I am trying to fix some past credit. First i have a old Credit card for about 480. They are offering a settlement amount of 120. Should i take it? Will it help my credit? Or should i try to get them to let me make payments. This is about 4.5 years deliquent. Also what type of credit is a gas bill considered, open ended (revolving) or promissory?

I am wanting to purchase a house, but I don’t want to look into financing until I find something I like. I am afraid my credit score will be reduced if I start asking banks to review my credit.

My sister recently had her bancruptcy discharged and is now ready to start rebuilding her credit. Would it help her score if I added her to a few of my credit cards? I have superior credit and want to retain it, so, if I do add her to my cards will her negative credit affect mine? Any ideas on how to help my little sis would be very appreciated.

Howddee! I need info about the EITC. I am disabled and my husband has supported me and continues to now. I read in Readers Digest that you may be able to get a tax credit for a dependent spouse or parent. Is this a fact ? What are the specifics? I know about the 1040A , there is no clause for a dependent spouse. Please help if you know how to break on through to the other side (yeah) of the what to do ? Thank you in advance for any ideas on how to KEEP OUR HARD EARNED MONEY most out of uncle sams deep pockets ect. ANY HELP will be most apprechated. Always your ,Tx. Wild Flower

I used to have 2 credit cards from Citibank (in the Philippines) — Visa and MasterCard. Unfortunately, I was not able to pay these cards on time so I decided to cancel them while paying for the remaining balance. However, I was only able to pay off completely one credit card. Now that I’m more financially stable, I decided to apply for a new credit card. Unfortunately I was declined probably because of my bad credit record. Now, I’m looking for a reputable company (in the Philippines) that can help me repair my credit record .
